Kinley's first taste of Cuban food... a croqueta!
Always in the mood for a "horray"!Mommy is pretty lame... if Kinley wrote this blog, it would be updated daily! Let's play catch up then, shall we? I'm not as accurate with the dates of some firsts like words, feeding herself, running, jumping but the great news is that Kinley is doing it all! Days are filled with therapy, but also feeding dolls, riding her tricycle, singing and dancing in the mirror and throwing tantrums. Yes- this gorgeous, angelic child is officially a toddler and to celebrate, she hoots and hollers her way to the time out stool. Its hysterical. Kinley climbed and played her way through January with San Antonio's mild winter. We cheered for the Patriots (sorry Grampy) and visited South Florida to meet Liam, Kinley's newest cousin. Kinley would give Liam "love taps" and try to burp him. She also pulled on his mohawk a few times. It was also a special visit as Kinley celebrated her birthday with family and met mommy's best friends. Having a friend for over 15 years and seeing your daughter play with her daughter is such a blessing.
Soon after our trip to FL, Kinley had a major birthday party at Gymboree. Over 20 kids rolling and jumping around was just what Kinley wanted. She enjoyed her birthday so much, every time we sing "Happy Birthday" she points to herself & tries to blow out other people's candles! Enough of the words, enjoy the pictures!
